Public benefits

The direct benefits flowing from Millisle Regeneration are the rejuvenation and revitalisation of Millisle, which will lead to the reduction of rural isolation and poverty. The benefits will be demonstrated by take-up of activities open to all those residing in Millisle, and to the signposting to statutory and voluntary agencies who support

deprived populations. There will be no harm arising from any of the organisations purposes. The beneficiaries of the charity's activities will be anyone who lives in or visits Millisle. There will be some incidental benefit to home owners and businesses along the Main Street, as this has suffered extreme dereliction over a protracted period. In our efforts to rejuvenate and revitalise the village, some benefit to other premises owners is anticipated, but necessary.
