Public benefits

The direct benefit of Apple Blossom Pre-School is to improve the education, health and well being of local children under statutory school age. We measure this benefit through feed back from parents, termly parent meeting, observations and assessments by key-worker staff and also from external bodies such as Social Services Inspections, ETI

Inspections and also regular contact with our Early Years Advisor. There is no harm arising from our purpose. The beneficiaries are children who are 2yrs 10mths - 4years under statutory school age in the local area, parents, carers, staff and the local community. There is no private benefit.

What your organisation does

We offer a pre-school session for 2hrs 35mins per day 5 days per week during term time for 3 and 4 year olds. We also offer an afternoon session, 2hrs, twice a week for pre pre-school children aged 2yrs 10mths to 3 year old.

Charitable purposes

The aim of the group is to enhance the development and education of children under statutory school age by encouraging parents/guardians to understand and provide for the needs of their children by:- a) Offering appropriate play facilities, with the right of parents/guardians to take responsibility for and to become involved in the activities of the group, ensuring that the group offers opportunities for all children, regardless of religion, culture, race or means. b) Encouraging the study of the needs of such children and their families and promoting public interest in and recognition of such needs of such children and their families in the local areas. c) Supporting the values and principles of Early Years.
