Public benefits
Purpose 1: The advancement of education of the pupils in the school by developing effective relationships between staff, parents and others who befriend the school and through the provision of educational facilities at the school. The direct benefit which flows from purpose 1 is that there is a better and improved relationship with staff, parents
and all who befriend the school and more support is being provided to the school and provision of facilities with better links between the school and the community. These benefits will be evidenced through an active Parent Teacher group and through feedback from staff and parents. Purpose 2: Any charitable purpose that is considered necessary to promote the objects of the charity The direct benefits from purpose 2 are mainly evidenced through the first charitable purposes however the trustees have chosen this purpose to ensure that they will not be restricted in providing assistance to their Beneficiaries in the future and recognise that it must be for one of the charitable purposes as outlined in the Charities Act (NI) 2008. These benefits will be evidenced by Beneficiaries benefitting from improved access to services and that they will not be impeded in helping their Beneficiaries in future opportunities. There is no harm flowing from this purpose. The charity's beneficiaries are the pupils attending the Sacred Heart Boys’ Primary School in North Belfast. There is a private benefit to trustees as they may also be parents of children attending Sacred Heart Boys’ School but these benefits are incidental.
