Public benefits

The direct benefits which flow from this purpose are: • Enhancing the musical understanding and appreciation of the public through the provision of easily accessible live performances • The bringing together of people of all communities in the mutual appreciation of the Arts • The ability of youth and elderly/disabled from all communities to

appreciate music through free events These benefits are evidenced through: • The number of people attending festival events • The range of performances both in the main festival and subsidiary events • Audience sample surveys at events to establish age, disabilities and community identification – and feedback of their understanding and appreciation of music The Trustees believe that there is no harm flowing from this purpose. The beneficiaries for this purpose are people living and or working in Holywood and the surrounding area. The Trustees believe that there is no private benefit to individuals and that any additional unintended benefit to organisations or indirect private benefit to individuals is incidental and only that necessary to achieve this public benefit.

What your organisation does

We carry out this purpose by organising an annual music festival, which will include free daytime events for youth and the elderly/disabled. The festival will be supported by other smaller musical events and activities staged throughout the year.
