Public benefits
The direct benefits that flow from the purpose of Aaron’s Army are; raising funds through the sale of merchandise/sponsorship to enable joggers to be purchased for children/young adults with varying degrees of physical/learning disabilities, the breaking down of isolation, enhancing the independence, and improving the quality of life, health
outcomes and reduced levels of stress and anxiety, of people with physical/learning disabilities, their family and friends. These benefits are evidence through the increasing numbers of people using our service and the feedback received from patrons. Our service involves providing jogging/running chairs. We provide instructions to patrons in the safe operation of equipment, ensuring patrons are capable of using the equipment safely and ensuring equipment is fit for purpose. Accidents are extremely rare and the benefits of our service outweigh any risks. The charities beneficiaries are individuals with physical/learning disabilities, their family and friends. There is no private benefit flowing from the purpose of our organisation.
