Public benefits
The direct benefits which flow from these purposes include provision of a range of educational, social and recreational activities, for members of the local community living within Killyfole and surrounding area, members of other neighbouring communities within County Fermanagh and visitors to the area, providing them with the opportunity to avail
of activities that assist and improve their education, social interaction and their conditions of life through accessing classes, services and activities that would not normally be made available to them. Examples of activities provided being, Dance Classes. Flower Arranging, Cook-It Healthy Eating, Basket Making, Children’s Field Study Park, Community Vegetable Garden, Coffee Mornings, Trips & Outings for Children & Adults, Defibrillator Provision & Training, Environmental Enhancements, Flower & Tree Planting, etc. Many of these activities are organised by the association linking with other statutory organisations and voluntary organisations. Benefits of the activities are evidenced by measurement of numbers participating in activities and receiving of feedback from participants. There is no harm flowing from the purposes of Killyfole and District Development Association. Local inhabitants and visitors to the area The only private benefits flowing from our purposes are that Killyfole and District Development Association members and their families can participate in all activities and this is incidental and necessary to ensure that all members of the district can potentially benefit.
What your organisation does
Provide Welfare Rights Advice and information. Provide Classes, Workshops, Training. Carry out research & surveys into the needs of people in the area. Recruit and train volunteers. Raise money by way of grants, donations and other lawful methods and give, donate or disburse grants in furtherance of the objects of the Association.

Charitable purposes
The Association is established to relieve poverty, sickness and the aged and to promote the benefit of the inhabitants of the Killyfole area and its surrounding areas in east Fermanagh (hereinafter called the area of benefit), by associating the statutory authorities, voluntary organisations and inhabitants in a common effort to advance education and to provide facilities in the interests of social welfare for recreation or other leisure time occupation, with the object of improving the conditions of life for the said inhabitants.
