Public benefits

The direct benefits which flow from the relief of poverty include the short term relief of hunger and improved hygiene and living conditions and providing beneficiaries with the appropriate advice and guidance to improve or prevent their quality of life in the present and future. The direct benefits which flow from relieving those in need include

the advancement in the education of cultural equality and inclusion in society for beneficiaries involved. Also the the provision of an opportunity for underprivileged people in Romania to understand the importance of their involvement in society and the help that can be given to them in order to improve their personal living situation. A further benefit flowing from these purposes is the creation and enhancement of independence amongst beneficiaries to improve their quality of life in the present and future. Other benefits include the short term relief from hardship and/or poverty by supplying beneficiaries with appropriate materials to enable them to experience a positive change in their own personal situation, be it their physical/mental health or for issues such as hunger, hygiene, clothing or shelter. The benefits will be evidenced through observations made by team members in Romania. The benefits will be relayed at the charity's AGM and in the charity's annual report. Additionally, feedback will be provided by those living in Romania. The purposes of our charity may lead to unintentional consequences arising when working with beneficiaries with mental illness, however the benefit far outweighs the harm. The charity's beneficiaries are impoverished people living in Brasov, Romania.

suffering hardship and poverty. The team spend a week in the city of Brasov where they work with a range of different people who suffer from deprivation. The team work in hospitals, orphanages, clinics and a range of schools. They deliver food programmes for very poor families in a number of deprived villages. They work with the homeless and with “street children”. The team undertake all of the shopping for aid and its subsequent distribution. They provide a short term relief from hardship/poverty with appropriate supplies, food, hygiene etc. The aim of the programme is to bring together individuals from different religious backgrounds by relieving poverty and sickness among children in Romania.
