Direct benefits which flows from this purpose is the education of pre-school children helping them develop a range of skills that will increase their self-esteem, independent skills and allow them to gain a positive image of themselves as learners.There is also a direct benefit to parents/carers who are encouraged to participate and become

involved in the level of care and the diversity of education their child receives. These benefits are evidenced by daily attendance records ,daily observations and evaluations,regular meetings formal/informal with parents /carers, informing and adapting planning to address individual needs,term time written reports. There is no harm arising from any of the purposes. Our charity's beneficiaries are children aged 3-4 years ,their parents/carers ,grand-parents and extended families. Playgroup staff throughout the year will attend relevant training in order to carry out their duties and promote good practice this is incidental and necessary.

What your organisation does

We provide a rich and stimulating environment to enable each child to reach his/her potential in all areas of development This is achieved through a broad and well balanced curriculum that challenges stimulates and develops the whole child. We adhere to the principles of our Partnership with Parents/Carers Policy. We ensure parents are given

regular feedback about their child's progress,we welcome contribution by the parents through questionnaires,monthly letters, comments book, term time reports, formal and informal meetings. We also encourage parents to become actively involved on the management Committee of the Playgroup. We work in partnership with other professionals including Education and Training Inspectorate and Western Health and Social Care Trust {Early Years Team }to ensure we offer the highest quality care to our children

Charitable purposes

The Group's Aims are to enhance the development & education of children aged 3-4 years of age in a caring, supportive and safe environment and to work in partnership with parents/carers to enhance their child's experience of pre-school. a) offering appropriate play, education & care facilities, family learning, together with the right of parents to take responsibility for and to become involved in the activities the Playgroup and ensuring equal opportunities for all children whatever their race, religion, culture, means or ability; b) to continue to promote the values and principles of Early Years.
