The direct benefits that flow from the purposes of Tonagh neighbourhood Initiative is: Residents having more knowledge around their rights and entitlements. They may be able to increase their financial situation and quality of life. The counselling service provides support for people with many different issues. The organisation offers a range of
projects and initiatives designed to increase knowledge and skills for participants, the benefit of this service is increased employability, confidence and allows residents to gain qualifications. The organisation’s group work (women, youth, pensioners, families) allow for socialising, particularly for newcomers to the area which goes some way to alleviating feelings of isolation. All of our activities are monitored and evaluated to show the success or otherwise of the particular activity. They advise that there is a sign in book for visitors and counselling clients to show levels of activity. Furthermore they advise that qualifications gained are a quantitative measure. Surveys are held in respect of the organisation approximately every ten years. There is no indication of harm arising from the purposes of Tonagh neighbourhood Initiative. The charity's beneficiaries are residents of the Tonagh area. No private benefit flows from any of the organisations purposes.
