Public benefits

What are the direct benefits flowing from your organisation's purposes? - Reduce deaths on the streets - Increased understanding of available support - Raising awareness of this in society - Homeless people feel supported and listened to - Opportunities to explore faith in Jesus but not forced How can the benefits identified above be

demonstrated? The benefit will be demonstrated through provision of clothing & food; prayer support on streets; directing people to support and liaising with other organisations; holding information evenings and involvement in HW. Is there any harm arising from any of the purposes? Potential harm to volunteers due to people misusing substances. However, volunteers will be briefed by the trustees and volunteers must liaise with the PSNI where necessary. The harm presented can be managed appropriately if volunteers heed advice from trustees & liaise with the PSNI. This harm is outweighed by the actual harm experienced by those deemed homeless due to assault, exploitation & deaths. Who are the charity's beneficiaries? Those deemed as homeless in Northern Ireland. Is there any private benefit flowing from any of the purposes? Is it incidental and necessary? At present no one will benefit from involvement as a volunteer or trustee as this is unpaid work. Full benefit will be for those sleeping rough in Northern Ireland.
