Public benefits

Promoting health & well-being in the local and surrounding areas through our sports and fitness facilities, providing workspace facilities for leasing thus enhancing employment in the area, developing youth activities which will hopefully deter anti social behaviour and providing a venue with outdoor and indoor facilities, without destinction of

age, nationality, disability, gender etc. The benefits can be evidenced through our user numbers, which are recorded on a regular basis, and are required at certain times by our various funders. It would not appear that any harm can arise from our organisation's purposes Our beneficiaries are anyone who use the facilities There is no private benefit flowing from any of our purposes.

It provides recreational & leisure services for the local and surrounding areas, provides rental space for tenants and their employees and other facilities to benefit the community. It provides programmes of education & sport to develope the skills of young people, thus enabling them to participate as independent, mature and responsible

individuals.

Charitable purposes

To promote the benefit of the inhabitants of Greysteel and the surrounding environs, (hereinafter called "the area of benefit"), without distinction of age, gender, disability, sexual orientation, nationality, ethnic identity, political or religious opinion, by associating the statutory authorities, community and voluntary organisations and the inhabitants in a common effort to advance education, relieve poverty and for the preservation and promotion of good health, and in particular, but not exclusively, to provide recreational and leisure time activities in the interests of social welfare for recreation or other leisure-time occupation with the object of improving the conditions of life for the said inhabitants; to provide childcare facilities, meeting rooms, training, conference and other facilities for the benefit of the community; to provide programmes of education and sport to develop the capacity, capability and skills of young people to enable them to participate in society as independent, mature and responsible individuals. The promotion for the benefit of the public of urban or rural regeneration in the socially and economically deprived area of Greysteel and its surrounding environs by any of the following means: the creation of employment opportunities by the provision of workspace, buildings, and/or land for use on favourable terms: the provision of recreational facilities for the public at large or those who by reason of their youth, age, infirmity or disablement, financial hardship or social and economic circumstances, have need of such facilities; the promotion of public safety and prevention of crime.
