Public benefits

The direct benefits that flow from the purposes are improved access to advice, support, guidance and referral services, including access to interpreters, relief from, and prevention of financial hardship and better support for migrants who are victims of race crime. We support and empower migrants living in Northern Ireland through our advice and

advocacy. We raise awareness and support integration and diversity through our workshops We have kept records in a case management system to show the impact and sustainability of our work. We carry out internal and external evaluations on a yearly basis and we have annual report detailing the work we have done and the impact we have had on people's lives. We also do evaluation sheets for each of our workshops to get feedback and show the learning that has happened. We make every effort to ensure there is no harm from our work. We have fully trained and qualified advisors and we have no evidence that our purposes have had any harm on individuals or communities. The main beneficiaries are migrants and their families who are living in Northern Ireland. The beneficiaries that are indirect are the communities that we do our awareness raising workshops and this includes a wide range of ages and communities from the majority community. There are no private benefits from any of the purposes. Our work is free of charge and accessible to anyone who is in need. We do not accept donations from anyone who benefits from our work. All our funding is from external funders.

What your organisation does

The organisation provides two areas of advice and advocacy - support for victims of racist incidents and crime and support for those who need help with financial health and well-being. The organisation also carries out cultural awareness and diversity workshops through a multi media arts project.
