Education of members of the public in all matters relating to Horticulture in order to improve their gardens and their gardening techniques. Improving public knowledge of matters relating to Horticulture and its application within society. Encouragement of members to enter horticultural competitions. Improvement of members' gardens and an increased
knowledge of horticultural matters. There is no harm arising from the organisation’s purposes. Members of the public who join the Society each year as Society Members and others who attend public talks. No private benefit flows from the purposes.
