Public benefits
The first purpose of Inter Estate Partnership is the advancement in education for the Community of Antrim and surrounding areas. The benefit which flows from this purpose includes seeking funding for resources and courses for the group to reach out the community inhabitants and build essential links. This is demonstrated through having an active
community development group that works in partnership with the community and other bodies. The public benefit will be the empowerment of residents to improve their living conditions, enhanced knowledge and understanding to all in the area through receiving an education and training in first aid, child protection, environmental issues, cultural awareness, committee skills, suicide and drug awareness, youth and enhancement of the young community inhabitants, increased volunteering opportunities and new skills to improve employment opportunities. The benefits are demonstrated through the results achieved, regular feedback from those and evaluation of the services provided. This purpose does not lead to harm. The benefit is for the community of Antrim and its environs, specifically those who have or will attend the courses on offer. To promote the protection and preservation of health and provide facilities in the interests of social welfare for recreation and other leisure occupation. The benefits which flow from these purposes include improvement in conditions for the life of the inhabitants, to improve health and well-being, increased participation, in activities and events to ensure the attainment of the community to increase their skill, enjoyment and social interaction, improvement in mental and physical health. This is demonstrated through the having access to resources, equipment which would not otherwise be available and the provision of events ensure links with the local community. The purpose will not lead to harm. The benefit is for all of the local community. This is demonstrated through having an active community development group that works in partnership with the community and other bodies. The benefit is for the community of Antrim and its environs, the benefit is incidental and necessary to ensure the benefit is provided to all beneficiaries. There is no private benefit.
What your organisation does
IEP was formed as a community group and endeavours to keep community at the centre of all its goals. We currently operate out of 5 units in the Park hall estate in Antrim, throughout these units we over a range of services to the community across all Antrim areas. We have a child playgroup and afterschool club that is operated from our unit by a
3rd party we simply manage the space but can offer the services within the community through referrals and support for parents. The is also a counselling group in one of the units offering support and help with metal health. This allows us to promote this service at a growing demand through the town with mental health being a crucial aspect of life. We have engaged with various funding groups to allow us to operate non-profit programmes delivered to vulnerable in the community. Many of these programmes have worked with ex-combatants, young people, woman’s groups and areas deemed at risk. Our social enterprise business within IEP is an inflatable rental service often supplied for community fund days, summer schemes and outreach projects. This enterprise allows us to generate some income that is solely reinvested into our community work and maintenance. Inter Estate Partnership organises training and community events in many different subjects since conception we have placed members of the community on the following training • provided cultural courses • promoted emotional resilience • anti-bullying initiatives • drugs and alcohol awareness • tolerance • capacity building • health and wellbeing • leadership by example • re-enactment of several historical events • good practice visits • first aid courses • food hygiene courses • child protection courses • SIA courses • childcare support • counselling • drop in centre • community events • information on public services

Charitable purposes
The Partnership is established to promote the protection and preservation of health and to promote the benefit of the inhabitants of Antrim Town (hereinafter called the "area of benefit"). By associating the statutory authorities, voluntary organisations and the inhabitants in a common effort to advance education, and to provide facilities in the interests of social welfare for recreation or other leisure-time occupation, with the object of improving the conditions of life for the said inhabitants.
