Purpose 1: To relieve poverty and advance education of the inhabitants of Dungannon and the surrounding area, through the provision of accessible training in various disciplines in order to enhance their employability and raise educational standards. Benefits: The direct benefits which flow from this purpose include: Increased opportunities to
gain employment; Increase the self-worth and esteem of participants; and Improving skills of participants. These benefits are demonstrated through feedback of participants, user groups and stakeholders. Our activities are regularly evaluated through surveys and interviews. This purpose does not lead to any harm. Purpose 2: To advance social welfare and leisure for the inhabitants of Dungannon and the surrounding area, through the provision of subsidised classes and support for local community organisations. Benefits: The direct benefits which flow from this purpose include: Improving the health and well-being of participants; Facilities are provided at minimum cost and therefore are accessible to all members of the community; and Encouraging social interaction with members of the local community. These benefits are demonstrated through feedback of participants, user groups and stakeholders. Our activities are regularly evaluated through surveys and interviews. This purpose does not lead to any harm. Purpose 3: To advance community development and participation in the arts, cultural and heritage of the inhabitants of Dungannon and the surrounding area. Benefits: The direct benefits which flow from this purpose include: Educating participants in the heritage of the locality; Advancement of diversity and equality for members of the community through programmes and events; Encourage participation in the arts; and Encouraging social interaction with members of the local community. These benefits are demonstrated through feedback of participants, user groups and stakeholders. Our activities are regularly evaluated through surveys and interviews. This purpose does not lead to any harm.
What your organisation does
Purpose 1: The organisation's activities that promote Purpose 1 including provision of training courses includes courses in counselling, first aid for children and babies, computer literacy and I.T., financial management, 'moving on' programmes and flower arranging. Purpose 2: The organisation's activities that promote Purpose 2 include sponsored
and funded activities including health and wellness sessions aimed at improving the physical and mental health of participants, martial arts, yoga classes and youth drama training. The organisation has also supported local community organisations by donating equipment, assisted with funding of hairdressing courses, reflexology, early years care and cookery classes. Purpose 3: The organisation's activities that promote Purpose 3 include provision of courses arts and Irish language and youth drama training. The organisation intends to run events and exhibitions focused on the heritage and history of Dungannon and the surrounding area.

Charitable purposes
The objects of the Company shall be:- to promote the benefit of of the inhabitants of Dungannon West (the "area of benefit") without distinction of sex, race, ethnicity or political, religious or other opinions by associating with the statutory authorities , voluntary organisations and inhabitants in a common effort to relieve poverty, advance education, preserve and protect health and provide facilities in the interests of social welfare for recreation and other leisure time occupations with the object of improving the conditions of life for the said inhabitants.
