Purpose 2.1 Bring together artists from all artistic backgrounds (i.e writers, storytellers, singers, dancers, visual artists, instrumentalists, drama etc) to encourage the sharing of skills and experiences and facilitate participation in physical, mental and social activity within the Banbridge / Craigavon area in order to promote the arts and

greater physical and mental wellbeing in the target group without distinction of age, gender, race, political, religious or other opinion. PUBLIC BENEFIT STATEMENT The direct benefits that flow from this purpose include social interaction across a range of arts disciplines and for participants to learn from the sharing of their skills and improve their physical, mental and social wellbeing. The benefits are demonstrated via weekly gatherings of group beneficiaries and feedback received via members and stakeholders. There is no harm or possibility of harm from this purpose. The main beneficiaries are members of the public with an interest in arts, from all artistic backgrounds, within the areas of Banbridge and Craigavon without distinction of age, gender, race, political, religious or other opinion. There are no known private benefits from this purpose. Purpose 2.2 By associating the statutory authorities, voluntary organisations and inhabitants in a common effort to advance education and to provide facilities for recreational or other leisure time occupation, with the object of improving the conditions of life for the said inhabitants. PUBLIC BENEFIT STATEMENT The direct benefits that flow from this purpose include partnership working across the statutory and voluntary sectors, together with the group stakeholders to act as a joined up approach to develop skills and share knowledge with an aim of improving beneficiaries’ conditions of life. This is demonstrated through regular collaboration with voluntary and statutory partners and the provision of classes, workshops and concerts. There is no harm or possibility of harm for this purpose. The main beneficiaries are statutory and voluntary organisation, who support and promote the arts, and stakeholders and participants living within the area of benefit. There are no known private benefits for this purpose. Purpose 2.3 To organise workshops and seminars in the promotion of a greater appreciation of the arts and the promotion of the link between arts development, wellbeing, community development and community spirit. PUBLIC BENEFIT STATEMENT The direct benefits that flow from this purpose include social interaction and building community spirit across a range of arts disciplines and for participants to learn from the sharing of their skills and improve their physical, mental and social wellbeing. This is demonstrated through hosting concerts, events, workshops and talks for Members and the public within the area of benefit. There is no harm or possibility of harm for this purpose. The main beneficiaries are group members and general public within the area of benefit. There are no known private benefits for this purpose

Provide practical assistance, through

peer support and facilitated sessions. 4. Carry our research and investigations to shape the work of the association and publish reports and recordings. 5. To raise grants and donations to help develop and shape the work of the Association. 6. Recruit and train volunteers to further the objects of the association.
