input into the development of programs and activities through our A.G.M. and our monthly meetings. We get feedback from the different course animators at each of our monthly meetings on the activities including feedback from the members. Is there any harm arising from any of the purposes? What your organisation does
Erne University of the Third Age advances education by focusing on the delivery of classes and courses through the medium of community education and lifelong learning. In relation to the public benefit – our focus is on the needs of people over the age of 50 who are retired and / or unemployed. Examples of the activities which we undertake
include: • ICT • Storytelling / Drama • Outdoor recreation and study visits • Personal Development Courses • Language classes • Singing Group No member of the Erne University of the Third Age benefits financially from organising or managing the courses / classes / activities. The Erne University of the Third Age is active in encouraging people who meet our criteria for membership, in getting involved in the group. We currently have 192 members from across the District Council area. Members have a direct input into the development of programs and activities through our A.G.M. and our monthly meetings.
