Public benefits
The public benefits that flow from the provision and maintenance of a parish hall for use by the inhabitants of the area of benefit are: (i) enhanced quality of life and sense of well-being through engagement with and participation in activities and events that bring people together, leading to improvements in physical and emotional well-being,
quality of life and a more stable and cohesive community; (ii) increased efficiency and effectiveness of the community and voluntary groups and organisations that use the facility, resulting in enhanced outcomes and service delivery and, consequently an improved quality of life for those who benefit from the work of these groups and organisations; (iii) enhanced active citizenship and involvement in community life. The beneficiaries are the inhabitants of the Parish of Drumbanagher and its environs. These benefits can be evidenced through feedback from the beneficiaries, evaluations of the work and impact of community and voluntary groups and organisations that use the facility and the findings of community surveys. No harm or private benefit arises from this purpose.
