Purpose One. The direct benefits which flow from the purpose to organize specific services and activities for the well-being of older people decrease the feeling of social isolation in the rural area. members are more informed and knowledgeable about eligibility to benefits, community safety, etc; better physical health through armchair exercise

classes etc; improved mental health through various activities. These benefits are evidenced through feedback from participants and ongoing attendance from the participants. We do not anticipate any harm from the purpose. The charity’s beneficiaries are the people aged 60+ in the Park area. The only private benefit flowing from this purpose is that people of this group also live in the local area of Park and are able to avail of these services. However, there is no preference to them over any other member of the public aged 60+ and living in this area. Purpose Two. The direct benefits which flow from the purpose to serve as a centre for information for those interested in the welfare of older people to increase awareness of those living in the local area aged 60+. These benefits are evidenced through the greater understanding of the needs of the people aged 60+ in the Park area. the public are more aware of the needs and experiences of older people; able to empathise and support older people; feel more supported and able to play a fuller part in community life. These benefits will be evidenced by: verbal feedback from the public and older people; questionnaires; newspaper articles. We do not anticipate any harm from the purpose. The charity’s beneficiaries are the people aged 60+ in the Park area. The only private benefit flowing from this purpose is that people of this group also live in the local area of Parkand are able to avail of these services. However, there is no preference to them over any other member of the public aged 60+ and living in this area. Purpose Three. To bring together representation of local voluntary agencies, statutory bodies in furtherance of the above, and the direct benefits which flow from this purpose includes provision of advice and guidance which can be accessed by older people of the Park area. There is a befriending service which offers support to them in returning forms to statutory agencies and makes appropriate referrals to the Citizens Advice outreach service, ensuring they receive benefits and assistance they are entitled to. Participants benefit from the safe provision of community and creative education. Participants are supported in the development of individual capabilities, competences, skills and understanding which assist them in having a more independent life. These benefits are evidenced by the positive impact on the physical, mental and emotional outcomes for beneficiaries enabling them to live a fulfilled, healthy and positive lifestyle which can assist them in remaining living independently at home. We do not anticipate any harm. The charity’s beneficiaries are the people aged 60+ in the Park area. The only private benefit flowing from this purpose is that people of this group also live in the local area of Park and are able to avail of these services. However, there is no preference to them over any other member of the public aged 60+living in this area. Purpose Four. To provide a friendly open facility for older people living in the Park area, the direct benefits which flow from this purpose are that the participants of the Park Sixty Plus are hosted in a comfortable facility; improved mental well-being and physical health; increased social interaction. people of this group also live in the local area of Park and are able to avail of these services.These benefits will be evidenced by verbal feedback from members, photographs of activities and facilities; evaluation forms. We do not anticipate any harm leading from this purpose. There is no preference to them over any other member of the public aged 60+ and living in this area.
