Clady Tiny meets the public benefit by providing a stimulating safe and learning environment for children from ages of 2 years 10 months - 4 years, in a rural disadvantaged area. We aim to give them the opportunity to develop as valued individuals. • To learn through play in a safe, stimulating environment • To enjoy the company of other
children, interact and socialise • To build relationships with adults away from the family in a safe environment. • To take part in a group that values everyone, whatever their race, gender, cultural background or special needs. • To develop his/her own character with the encouragement and support of adults • To grow in self-confidence encouraging the ability to choose from a range of activities in a caring environment • To encourage basic recognition of letters and numbers through play in preparation for school • We strive to create a welcoming atmosphere with approachable staff to help create effective communication between parents and practitioners • We work in partnership with parents and provide training to parents/carers on Health and Education. • Advise parents/carers on health and education and signpost them to the relevant Health Professionals These benefits are demonstrated by annual reviews, feedback from parents and regulatory bodies. Beneficiaries Clady Tiny Tots playgroup is open to all children from ages of 3 to 4 in the local community regardless of religion, race, culture, social class, ability or disability. There is no private benefit or harm flowing from our purposes.
What your organisation does
Our organisation provides quality affordable childcare to preschool children in a rural disadvantaged area. We are registered with Southern Health and Social Care Trust for 24 children. We run five morning sessions and two afternoon sessions. We employ 4 qualified childcare staff and 1 admin worker. We are a committee run voluntary organisation,
with our committee made up of parents or past parents of children attending our setting
