Public benefits
The benefit flowing from this purpose include the improvement of knowledge and skills of the recipients which is evident from the number of listeners who regularly receive our recordings. We don't believe any harm arises from this purpose. The beneficiaries are people labouring under some temporary or permanent incapacity which makes reading a
strain primarily in the Greater Armagh area. A private incidental benefit of this is the increase in knowledge and skills of our volunteers within the association. The fact that the recordings are free has the direct benefit of including any person who wishes to receive them regardless of their financial circumstances again demonstrated by the number of listeners who regularly receive recordings. We don't believe any harm will arise from this purpose. The beneficiaries are people with a visual impairment primarily those living in the greater Armagh area. Again a private incidental benefit is the increase in knowledge, skill, and understanding of our volunteers. The fact that we provide equipment to listen to the material free of charge has the direct benefit of including all people who wish to avail of the service regardless of financial circumstances. This is demonstrated by the number of listeners who regularly receive recordings. We don't believe any harm arises from this purpose. The beneficiaries are people with a visual impairment primarily those living in the greater Armagh area.
