Public benefits
To promote the benefit of the inhabitiants of Marlacoo area by working in partnership with statutory authorities and voluntary organisations to advance education and provide facilities. To promote health , social wellbeing, social welfare recreation and other leisure time occupations with the object of improving the quality of life for the said
inhabitants through the development of a Community Development Initiative The direct benefits which flow from this purpose include the improvement of the conditions of life of the community in the Marlacoo Area both through practical experience and theoretically. These may include improved health and wellbeing, greater knowledge and understanding of support agencies and other assistance available. Through their experiences people may gain skills and knowledge which are transferable to other settings. Private benefits are incidental. There will be no harm flowing from this purpose. To advance knowledge and appreciation of the Ulster Scots language and culture and to encourage understanding and acceptance of indigenous cultures to the area of benefit. The benefits which flow from this purpose are a better understanding and awareness of the cultural history, through a variety of experiences, for the people of the Marlacoo area. These will be evidenced by both musical and literary exposure and participation. There will be no harm flowing from this purpose. The Private benefit incidental and necessary to ensure the benefit is provided to our beneficiaries.
