What your organisation does
Our Parent Support Group is made up of parents who work together to organise fundraising and social events for our pupils, families and local community. Each year we seek to run a variety of events within school for pupils eg disco, science workshops and/or for parents and the local community eg Tractor Run, Christmas Fayre. We encourage parents
and the community to get involved as we are a small rural community and want to support the staff and principal in our local school which is very much at the heart of our community. In partnership with staff and parents we agree on how our funds should be spent to support the work of the school and directly benefit the pupils. This year we are funding the purchase of brightly coloured tables and chairs for the pupils.
