Public benefits

The purpose of Belfast Metropolitan Trust is to promote the following purpose for the public benefit:- 1. the advancement of education, training and skills of students and graduates of Belfast Metropolitan College and such other persons in Northern Ireland; The direct benefits flowing from this purpose include improving the employability and

personal development of certain students by providing short fall funding for student led projects and improving the life chances of certain students by providing enablers to overcome disadvantage. These benefits can be demonstrated by evaluating the experience of students who benefit from shortfall funding and monitoring the retention of students to ensure that they continue to participate in and benefit from learning opportunities. The purpose of our charity will not lead to any harm. The charity’s beneficiaries are College students and other individuals resident in Northern Ireland who suffer from disadvantage. There are no private benefits flowing from the purpose.

What your organisation does
