Public benefits

The benefit that flows from the purpose is the promotion of enjoyment, better understanding and general advancement of the arts. In particular the art of musical theatre in the local area and beyond. These benefits are evidenced through our high levels of participation in our activities by members from all walks of life and all ages. Also through

the consistently well attended performances and workshops. Our benefit is measured through Video and photo documentation and qualitative feedback from members and non-members through written, verbal and social media mediums and financial performance in annual accounts. The beneficiaries are mostly are members who participate in our activities and the audience members who come to see our performances. There is also an element of private benefit for the people who are hired to help facilitate our activities. People employed in the production team gain valuable experience in directing, musical directing and choreographing shows, showcases and workshops. Also technical staff may have to be hired to enable the facilitating of these performances. The private benefit allows us to present our events to the public which is our main purpose. We believe that this purpose does not lead to any harm.
