Public benefits
The Dunbar Trusts provide for the public benefit by relief of those in need by reason of financial hardship through donations to individuals in need identified by and disbursed through religious ministers in parishes in the locality of Banbridge, Laurencetown, Gilford and Tullylish for the relief of poverty of parishioners of those parishes. The
allocation of funds benefits the recipients by reducing their stress brought about by lack of funds. The Trust receives informal feedback from Ministers when allocating the funds. These donations are beneficial to these individuals/families who find it hard to provide the necessities for themselves and family members and are by no means harmful. The intended beneficiaries are those facing financial hardship in the parish and is decided by the religious minister of the parish. The beneficiaries change each year but will always be in the same geographical area as detailed above. There is no private benefit from our purpose.
