The benefits that flow from the purpose is that the young people • develop character and moral responsibility • reduces social isolation through recreational activities • Educational development through supervised and self-training • Improved fitness through physical activity • Personal development from learning life skills. The youth club welcome

all young people regardless of personal background, faith, gender or personal circumstances provided they can agree to the purpose of the club. We believe this philosophy of openness to all enriches everyone through the sharing of the skills, aptitudes and life experiences of our young people. The benefits are evidenced by the membership of the club, the charitable works undertaken, the improved health benefits from the activities and the public wellbeing generated. The support of parents and community demonstrate the success of the club. The Youth Club’s programme of activities include: • Recreational activities such as table tennis, snooker, darts and computer games • Fitness activities such as swimming, kayaking, football, badminton. • Choral singing and entertaining in residential homes • Educational activities such as first aid training, outings and camps • Character building provided by Duke of Edinburgh award and charitable work, Private Benefit There is no private benefit

What your organisation does

Apart from the usual games of table-tennis; snooker; darts and computer games in the Youth Centre; swimming, kayaking, football, badminton, choral singing, first aid training and training for the Duke of Edinburgh's awards are held at appropriate venues. Fund-raising events, charity work, outings, camp and holidays are a feature.

Charitable purposes

The aims of the Club are to train young people to be good and caring citizens of our community and society with a Christian understanding of good and healthy morals. To provide a happy and healthy environment in which young people can meet one another and responsible adults, engage in leisure pursuits and develop a sense of responsibility.
