institution or not • Support for parents and carers of children by sharing learning and developmental milestones and organising family events • Enhancing health and well being of children through provision of healthy snacks and regular physical activity • The development and sustained productive partnership with local authorities, voluntary organisations and other bodies engaged in the furtherance of the objectives in the area of benefit • Innovative working practices which draw upon the knowledge of staff and committee members to continuously learn and evolve as an organisation • The creation of an effective and professional workforce where staff feel valued and supported • Participation of parents and wider family circle in the opportunity to be Family and Associate Members of the Pre School Committee • Promotion of social inclusion and community cohesion by application of an inclusive applications policy which does not exclude people in poverty or from different backgrounds. Kenbaan Community Pre School provides a supervised play based learning environment 5 mornings a week from 8.30am to 11.45am. According to the pre school curriculum Kenbaan Community Pre School plans and provides activities and play opportunities to develop the childrens emotional, physical, social and intellectual capabilities. The Pre School
setting consists of one classroom, with both indoor and outdoor facilities to help achieve this. The Pre School is situated within the grounds of St Brigid's Primary School in Ballymena.
