The Public benefit from the work of the Kairos Trust in the following ways: -Mentoring and equipping Ministers, Pastors and other Church leaders gives them greater effectiveness in working with their local community and in creating further opportunities to provide services to the individuals in the community -Seminars and training in Prayer

Ministry provide a pool of people able to and skilled in praying with and assisting people in difficult circumstances, such as bereavement, unemployment, divorce and other situations of hurt or anxiety - The church in India has received better trained and equipped Pastors and leaders and Dalit children have had both education opportunities and vocational training provided - In South Africa, indigenous leadership in the township has been encouraged, equipped, trained and assisted in providing welfare and vocational opportunity for their neighbours. The benefits are demonstrated by the numbers of pastors, ministers clergy, elders and leaders from all denominations who have taken courses supplied by the Trust The beneficiaries are in the first instance those who take to courses and are equipped and skilled thereby and secondarily those of the general public who are helped by those who take the courses There is no harm flowing from the purposes There is no private benefit flowing from the purposes

What your organisation does

The Organisation in fulfilling its purposes presently is involved in the following activities:- 1 Individual and group mentoring of young ministers from a variety of denominations especially those in the first years of sole charge of parishes or congregations - seeking to improve their leadership skills, their breadth of outlook , and their

involvement with serving the communities in which they are set 2 Training for Prayer Ministry which is to equip church members with the basic skills to listen effectively, pray wisely and thereby assist those in difficulty who seek help. 3 Training for existing Prayer Ministry Teams in congregations 4 Work with the Diocese of Vellore in rural Tamil Nadu South India which includes traing local leadership and,thus far, the building of four rural primary schools for Dalit children and a vocational nursing school for Dalit girls 5 Work with the local community leadership in a township (Blanco) in George, South Africa, training, equipping and providing infrastructure to assist their work with the local community

Charitable purposes

The Trustees shall hold the capital and income of the Trust Fund upon trust to apply the income and all or such part or parts of the capital at such time or times and in such manner as the Trustees in their absolute discretion shall decide to or for any one or more of the following objects or purposes:- The advancement of the Christian Religion in the United Kingdom and Northern Ireland and throughout the world.
