Public benefits

Purpose 1) To promote play based learning environments for all children over three and under statutory school age (hereinafter referred to as the beneficiaries) of the area of Fallaghgloon and its surrounding environs in County Derry without distinction of, gender, disability, nationality, ethnic identity, political or religious background, by

associating the statutory authorities, community and voluntary organisations and the inhabitants in a common effect to advance the education of the beneficiaries by the provision of safe and satisfying group play, with the right of parents/carers to take responsibility for and to become involved in the activities of the group. The direct benefits that flow from this purpose are improved learning outcomes, development, language skills, social integration and emotional well being for all the children at the play group. Another benefit is the improved relationship with parents/carers. Purpose 2) To promote the preservation of health of the beneficiaries. The direct benefit that flows form this purpose is to encourage a healthy eating life style at a young age. Purpose 3) To support the values and principles of Early Years (the organisation for children) The direct benefits that flow from this purpose is the provision of a safe, healthy and stimulating environment in which children can learn through play and develop their own talents and personalities to their full potential. All the above benefits can be demonstrated by feedback from parents and reports from an independent Early Years adviser. The play group also gets regularly inspected by Social Services and the Early Years organisation. There are no harms flowing from our purposes. Private benefits arising from our purposes are incidental, and include the wages paid to the employees and training supplied to both employees and committee members. These private benefits are necessary to carry out the purposes of our organisation.

The Group is established to promote play based learning environments for all children (over three and under statutary school age hereinafter referred to as the benefrciaries) of the area of Fallaghgloon and its surrounding environs in County Derry. (hereinafter called the "area of benefit") without distinction of, gender, disability,nationality, ethnic identity, political or religious background, by associating the statutory authorities, community and voluntary organisations and the inhabitants in a common effort to advance education, and in particular: a. to advance the education of the beneficiaries by the provision of safe and satisfying group play, with the right of parents/carers to take responsibility for and to become involved in the activities of the group and to promote the preservation of health of the beneficiaries; and b. to support the values and principles of Early Years.
