The public benefit flowing from our key purposes can be summaraised as follows - The direct benefits which flow from purpose to advance education include enhanced educational attainment and increased confidence and employability opportunities. The direct benefits which flow from preserved environmental will include increase awareness of

environmental, culture & heritage within the village of Donemana and enhanced opportunities. The direct benefits which flow from providing venue will increase the number of people living in the rural area taking part in social recreational & educational activities. The charity's beneficiaries are people living in Donemana and surrounding area without distinction of sex, secual orientation, race or of political, religious or other opinion. There is no private benefit flowing from the purposes. There is no harm to beneficiaries. The benefits are evidenced through feedback from participants, questionnaires and statistics of the area.

What your organisation does

The organisation leases Donemana Orange Hall. Donemana Cultural Association Ltd have acquired grants and renovated the Orange Hall and carried out great improvements to create a centre in Donemana where local people can meet to carry out educational & recreational activities. We also organise an annual summer scheme which is for children/young

people aged 7-16 years. We also organise courses including food hygiene and marshalling training. Currently we are exploring funding opportunities to create an allotment to enhance the environment of adjacent land.

Charitable purposes

The company's objects are to promote the benefit of the inhabitants of Donemana and surrounding area (hereinafter described as "the area of benefit") without distinction of sex, sexual orientation, race or of political, religious or other opinions, by associating together the said inhabitants and the local authorities, voluntary and other organisations in a common effort to advance education, to preserve the environment, culture and heritage of the area of benefit and to provide facilities in the interests of social welfare for recreation and leisure time occupation with the object of improving the conditions of life for the said inhabitants.
