Public benefits
The public benefits that flow from the purpose of Mizpah Trust are: I) Spiritual teaching and development of men, women and children living in the Eastern European nations of Hungary, Croatia, Slovakia, Bosnia Herzegovina, Slovenia, Serbia, Czech Republic, Slovakia, Poland, Austria, Bulgaria, Romania, Ukraine, and most recently Greece and
Macedonia. This is accomplished through the teaching of the evangelical gospel of Jesus Christ in accordance with the Word of God at public worship services or by counseling individuals using Biblical theology, leading to a deeper spiritual understanding and better quality of life for men, women, and children with an interest in spiritual advancement. II) Physical relief provided to men, women, and children living in these areas who lack adequate resources for health, wellbeing, and prosperity—distributed without ethnic, religious, or socio-economic discrimination. Believing that spiritual understanding cannot be gleaned when physical needs persist, Mizpah Trust aims to provide impoverished people with relief through basic humanitarian supplies, such as food, clothing, medical care, and improved shelter. In some cases, Mizpah has assisted by providing resources necessary for children to continue education. These services provide beneficiaries with an improved quality of life and the opportunity to hear the gospel of Jesus Christ, without the distraction of lacking basic necessities. III) Education and public awareness in community meetings throughout the United Kingdom. At these events, Mizpah Trust educates men, women and children about current events, living conditions, and the spiritual climate of people in Eastern Europe as well as provides opportunities for individuals to get involved in the work of the aforementioned countries. Attendees benefit by extending their knowledge base of the region and are provided with a method of getting involved, in the form of advocacy, prayer, or financial support of the work being accomplished by Mizpah Trust in Eastern Europe. There is little-to-no risk for the beneficiaries of the purpose of Mizpah Trust, as they simply receive instruction or relief supplies that pose no threat to their health or safety. However, the benefits gained over three decades of work by Mizpah Trust are significant and noted by hundreds of beneficiary testimonials throughout the years. There is no private benefit from the services of Mizpah Trust. Beneficiaries are limited to individuals seeking greater spiritual knowledge and understanding of the gospel of Christ, who reside within Eastern European nations; as well as, individuals in the United Kingdom who wish to learn more about current events, living conditions, and the spiritual climate in Eastern Europe.
