Public benefits
The benefits which flow from attending our club are the relief of loneliness and isolation. The improvement of mental health and relief of stress. The improvement of general health and well being. These benefits are demonstrated through direct feedback from the members verbally and through attendance. Our annual report demonstrates the activities
we all benefit from. The intended beneficiaries of the purpose are the over 50s in the Loughgall and surrounding district. There is no harm as a result of the purpose as we meet in a safe environment and any carers attend as required. No one person gains any private benefit as a result of the purposes being carried out.
What your organisation does
We meet on a monthly basis in the afternoon. We have approx. 38 members with 30 attending meetings. We provide speakers on a range of subjects and provide a healthy snack for members. We also have a monthly raffle. We have in the past run a craft class which included knitting. We have a number of outings during the year, this included a trip
to Dobbies.
