Public benefits
The organisation helps to education young people in tandem with the statutory sector. The programme helps to establish a respect for property and the social needs of others. The organisation helps young people to understand that they are a useful part of the fabric of the local and greater community. The organisation provides an opportunity for
young people to take part in sports in both a participating and competitive environment. The organisation works with several of the local churches to help provide a non denominations understanding of the spiritual and religious teachings of the bible to help the young people make informed decisions on how this is a part of our society. The organisation recognises the need to be inclusive and where there are young people who are socially disadvantaged provision is made to make sure that they are included and increasing our outreach within the community. Our activity based learning is there to help our young people to be prepared for the challenges that they will encounter in the various aspects of their lives. Our work helps to provide many of our young adults with the ability to be well rounded individuals and in the long term help them to progress to become dedicated leaders for many of the local youth organizations which are generally church based. All the young people involved in the organisation must undertake an element of physical involvement and most of them participate in some form of individual or team sports. The main short term benefit from this is to provide a more healthy generation of young people and hopefully in the longer term a healthier older generation. The benefits of our organisation are (will be) demonstrated through a process of continual annual review of the training and processes used in help young people to achieve awards. Monitoring the numbers of young people who complete the various aspects of their awards with the objective of assisting all those who start an award to meet their final objective of achieving that award. The purposes of our charity may lead to minor injury as there is a risk element. We can show that this harm is outweighed by the benefits through the well documented successes of many of the young people who get involved in the ongoing development work that is done with each individual. The only private benefit flowing from this purpose is that many of our young people and leaders gain recognised qualifications or transferable workplace skills and this is incidental and necessary because of the training that has to be undertaken to provide the necessary education to mitigate the risk associated with some of the activities.
