Public benefits

Benefit One -To advance the education of the beneficiaries by the provision of safe and satisfying group play. The benefit which flows from accessing play opportunities is that children learn through play, and the group will help their social, emotional and educational availability. Their parents also benefit through high quality childcare during

the times in which they are working or studying. This is evidenced by feedback and observations of children. There is no risk or harm to this benefit. Benefit Two -The right of parents or carers to take responsibility for and to become involved in the activities of the group. Through the committee, parents are actively involved in decision making of the group and work with staff to manage the club, providing safe and stimulating play experiences. This increases the parents confidence in the delivery of the service. This is evident in the Minutes of the Meetings, feedback and evaluations from parents. There is no harm or risk to this benefit. The only private benefit to trustees may be through attendance at training which may then be used in other settings or organisations.
