Public benefits

The direct benefits which flow from our purpose include enhanced wellbeing through the opportunity for volunteering in a rurally isolated community, enhanced civic pride as a result of reduction in areas of neglect and an enhanced local capacity as a result of education around environment issues and protection of the environment through the use of

natural resources. These benefits are evidenced through general feedback, and evaluations taken from events and activities and the increasing number of local volunteers helping to carry out our work. There is no harm associated. The Charity’s beneficiaries are those living or with an interest in the village of Cushendall. Any private benefit is incidental in terms of enhanced health and wellbeing and civic pride and promotion of active citizenship.

What your organisation does
