Public benefits

The purpose of the Feed Trust is to advance the Christian religion throughout the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland and elsewhere without geographical or sectarian limitations. The Trustees believe that the purpose satisfies both elements of the public benefit requirement. The direct benefits which flow from the purpose

include improved access to Christian teaching and apologetics resources within and outside the UK, both in English and through translation. These benefits are evidenced through quantitative data regarding 'hits' on the two websites (www.thefeedtrust.org and www.johnlennox.org) and responses and requests from individuals who have visited one or both of the sites; published material, audio/visual material, feedback on the use of material in translation and requests for future translations in other languages. The beneficiaries of this purpose are the general public who have access to the internet and those in Myanmar who have access to the materials in translation. This purpose does not lead to harm. The direct benefit which flows from this purpose is to bring relief to individuals and families in need which can be evidenced by scrutiny of accounts, correspondence and photographs. This purpose does not lead to harm and any individual benefit falls under the terms of ‘relief of poverty.
