The Direct Public Benefit which flow from the purpose include raising awareness of age appropriate play based learning among parents and carers and the provision of Early Education for children under statuatory age in Derrygonnelly and surround area. These Benefits are demonstrated through feed back from Parents, Early Years Advisors, and regular

evaluation of the service by Social Services and the Education and Training inspectorate. This purpose does not give rise to any harm. The Beneficiaries of the purpose are the children and their families under statuatory school age living in Derrygonnlly and surrounding areas.

What your organisation does

Bunnahone Bunnies Cross Community Playgroups provide a much needed and necessary play based Learning environment for three / four year olds in Derrygonnelly and the surrounding areas. This is provided in a purpose built premises in Tir Navar Complex in the village of Derrygonnelly. Bunnahone Bunnies Cross Community Playgroup provides Pre-school

Education to a maximum of 24 three and four year old children following the curriculum devised by the Department of Education Northern Ireland which has the six key components namely The Arts / Language Development / Personal Social and Emotional Development / Physical Development and Movement / The World Around us. Bunnahone Bunnies Playgroup work in partnership with parent and neighbouring organisations and are periodically inspected by the following organisations to ensure it meets all regulatory and minimum standard requirements – The Education Authorities Western Trust / Health and Social care Trust / Independent Early years advisor.

Charitable purposes

The Group is established to promote play based learning environments for all children under statutory school age (hereinafter referred to as the beneficiaries) of the Derrygonnelly area and its surrounding environs in County Fermanagh (hereinafter called the "area of benefit") without distinction of age, gender, marital status, disability, sexual orientation, nationality, ethnic identity, political or religious opinion, by associating the statutory authorities, community and voluntary organizations and the inhabitants in a common effort to advance education, and in particular, to advance the education of the beneficiaries by the provision of safe and satisfying group play, with the right of parents/carers to take responsibility for and to become involved in the activities of the group; and to promote the preservation of health of the beneficiaries, and to support the values and principles of Early Years.
