THE PUBLIC WILL BENEFIT FROM EDUCATIONAL AND RECREATIONAL PROGRAMMES AND PROJECTS WHICH WE WILL PROVIDE WITHIN OUR LOCAL COMMUNITY. THESE PROGRAMMES WILL PROVIDE HEALTH AND WELL BEING, MENTAL HEALTH, EDUCATIONAL WHICH WILL HELP GAIN QUALIFICATIONS. SERVICES FROM STATUTORY AGENCIES SUCH AS ADVICE CLINICS ON BENEFITS, CRIME PREVENTION, HOUSING

ADVICE, DRUG AND ALCOHOL SERVICES AND WE WILL ALSO PROVIDE A SIGNPOSTING SERVICE FOR ANY PUBLIC SERVICES AVAILABLE WHICH OUR LOCAL RESIDENTS MAY REQUIRE. FEES ARE NOT CHARGED FOR THIS SERVICE AND NONE OF OUR COMMITTEE MEMBERS WILL OBTAIN ANY PRIVATE BENEFIT. THERE IS NO HARM FLOWING FROM OUR PURPOSES. THE BENEFICARIES ARE THE RESIDENTS WITHIN THE CLANDEBOYE VILLAGE AREA.

What your organisation does

WE PROVIDE A SERVICE FOR ALL RESIDENTS WITHIN THE CLANDEBOYE VILLAGE AREA, FOR EXAMPLE, ADVICE SERVICES, PROJECTS PROMOTING HEALTH AND WELL BEING AND EDUCATIONAL CLASSES FOR RESIDENTS TO GAIN QUALIFICATIONS. WE ALSO CARRY OUT COMMUNITY INITIATIVES FOR THE BENEFIT OF THE AREA AND ALSO ACCESS ANY RELEVANT FUNDING TO ENDORSE THE WORK OF THE

ASSOCIATION. WE WORK IN PARTNERSHIP WITH OTHER ORGANISATIONS SUCH AS NORTH DOWN COMMUNITY NETWORK TO PROVIDE ADDITIONAL SERVICES FOR YOUNG PEOPLE AND RESIDENTS FROM OUR AREA.

Charitable purposes

Clandeboye Village Community Association purposes are to promote the benefit of the residents of Clandeboye Village area (the “area of benefit”) without distinction of age, sex, sexual orientation, race, ethnic identity, political or religious or other opinion by co-operating with the statutory authorities, voluntary and community organisations and the residents in a common effort to: (1) establish or secure the establishment of a Community Centre and maintain and manage it for activities promoted by the Charity; (2) provide facilities in the interests of social welfare for recreation and other leisure time occupations with the object of improving the conditions of life for residents in the area of benefit; (3) advance education and arts and culture; (4) promote health, healthy recreation and amateur sport; (5) relieve those in need by reason of youth, age, ill-health, disability, financial hardship or other disadvantage; (6) promote the protection, enhancement and improvement of the natural and built environment and the provision of public amenities; (7) promote good community relations, religious and racial harmony and equality and diversity; (8) promote such other charitable purposes as may from time to time be determined.
