The charity to aims to benefit the people of the environs of Ballyhegan and Kilmore in the following ways -By developing a spirit across all citizens of the area. By supporting local people to re-discover and preserve their knowledge of the local area, their sense of place and all aspects of local heritage. The benefits are demonstrated through

identifying sources and topics of local and general heritage interest. Promoting an agreed number of heritage talks and events each year. Developing ways of promoting wider explorations of the concepts of heritage. Establishing mutually supportive relationships with groups that have similar aims. The charity is to help local people of the environs of Ballyhegan and Kilmore across all ages and across all cultural and political backgrounds. There is no harm or private benefit
