The direct benefits which flow from the clubs purpose include promotion of the game of bowls in the community of Gransha and wider Enniskillen area of County Fermanagh providing all members of the local community with the opportunity to avail of this sporting recreational activity that assists improve their social welfare and conditions of life

through activities that would not normally be made available to them. Many of the activities of the club are organised by the group linking with local authorities, statutory bodies, voluntary organisations, local groups, other clubs and community members. Receiving feedback from participants and measurement of numbers attending activities and using facilities evidences benefits of the activities. The only private benefit flowing from our purpose are that Gransha Bowling Club members and their families can participate in all activities and this is incidental and necessary to ensure that all members of the district can potentially benefit. There is no harm flowing from the purposes of Gransha Bowling Club.

What your organisation does

Gransha Bowling Club has 25 members who use the facilities of Gransha Hall in County Fermanagh for a weekly game of indoor bowls for ten months of the year. The club members also participate in the Fermanagh Indoor Bowls League and take part in friendly matches and tournaments with other clubs. The club also organise an annual bowling

tournament for visiting clubs in Gransha Hall.

Charitable purposes

The club was established to promote the game of bowls in Gransha and the wider Enniskillen area. Without distinction of age, sex, race, political, religious or other opinion. We would provide facilities in the interests of social welfare and recreation, with the object of improving the conditions of life for the people of the local area.
