Public benefits
The direct benefits flowing from this purpose include building personal resilience, coping skills and self confidence of members to enable them to integrate more fully within the wider community, to live more meaningful lives, enjoy positive mental health and be afforded the opportunities each and every one of us are entitled to. These benefits
can be demonstrated by the membership numbers, the numbers attending sessions and both verbal and written feedback from members and/or their families or carers on their enhanced emotional health and wellbeing. The purposes of our charity will not lead to any harm. The charity's beneficiaries are adults aged 18 and over who are diagnosed with long-term mental health difficulties and living in the wider Antrim, Ballymena and Whiteabbey areas. A private benefit to trustees and other volunteers may arise from our ongoing training programme and their voluntary work experience. Through same they may gain skills and experience which are transferable to other settings. These benefits are incidental and necessary insofar as they contribute towards achieving our purposes and are a necessary result of same.
