Drumcree Community Centre provides the base for a range of services provided by Drumcree Community Trust. These include weekly parents & toddlers groups, young mothers' group, groups for parents, carers, and childminders; family support services delivered in conjunction with SureStart; organised activities for children and young people up to the

age of eighteen, including after school activities, positive lifestyle programmes, holiday play schemes. This is also reflected through training of our own volunteer base on an ongoing basis. Our community health project (Drumcree House of Health) offers opportunities for local people to develop healthy lifestyles through heath awareness programmes (drug/alcohol awareness; mental and physical health programmes, smoking cessation courses, healthy eating/cooking programmes, suicide/self-harm awareness, etc), fitness classes and developing creative and other interests. Mayfair Business Centre, a separate economic development entity of whom the company members are the current directors of Drumcree Community Trust, is home to 20 local businesses and provides employment and training opportunities for local people. All these activities are aimed at reducing poverty and improving the health, education, social and economic well-being of residents of all ages within our area of benefit irrespective of their sex, race, ethnicity or political, religious or other opinions and creating an awareness of mutual responsibility within the community.
