which flow from purpose three include a greater understanding of local language and its origins and also local cultures for the said inhabitants of the defined area of benefit These benefits will be evidenced through feedback both verbal and written from the people attending the programme of activities including feedback provided to funding bodies. We have not identified any harm directly coming from the purposes of our charity. .The beneficiaries of the charity are the inhabitants of the MOYASSET, MONEYDOLLOG, KILLANE , DREEN, Craignageeragh, Cardonaghy, Glenhugh, Corbally, Ballyconnelly, Loan, Drumrankin, Garvaghy and Drumraw area and its environs ('area of benefit'). We have not identified any areas of private benefit directly coming from our purposes.

What your organisation does

We run a programme of activities from October through to end of May each year at 58 Cardonaghy Road , Ahoghill. These activities are chosen by the members from a list of suggestion topics which they then vote for in order of preference. The programme covers local history, culture, recreation and the Ulster Scots language. The programme also

includes an annual Summer Educational Visit and social visit to a pantomime in January.

Charitable purposes

The Society is established to: ? promote the benefit of the inhabitants of the MOYASSET, MONEYDOLLOG, KILLANE , DREEN, Craignageeragh, Cardonaghy, Glenhugh, Corbally, Ballyconnelly, Loan, Drumrankin, Garvaghy and Drumraw area and its environs (hereinafter described as “the area of benefit") without distinction of age, sex, race, political, religious or other opinion. It will so do by associating the statutory authorities, voluntary organisations and inhabitants in a common effort to advance education and to provide facilities in the interests of the social welfare, education, recreation or other leisure-time occupation with the object of improving the conditions of life for the said inhabitants; ? to establish a Community Development Initiative and to co-operate with other relevant organisations in the promotion of activities by the Society and its constituent bodies in furtherance of the above objects. ? to advance knowledge and appreciation of the Ulster-Scots language and culture and to encourage understanding and acceptance of all indigenous cultures to the area of benefit.
