Public benefits

1. The Association is established to promote and generate community relations in the Dundela/Strandtown District without distinction of age, gender, sexuality, nationality, ethnic origin, political or religious belief. The benefits that flow from this purpose are: meeting new people, improved community cohesion, and a stronger sense of community.

This can be demonstrated through feedback from participants and other stakeholders, and evaluation reports for funders. There is no clearly identified harm associated with this purpose. The beneficiaries are residents of the Dundela/Strandtown district, and the wider community without distinction of age, gender, sexuality, nationality, ethnic origin, political or religious belief. There may be private benefits gained by individuals who have developed skills from training or gained enjoyment from events. These benefits are incidental but to be expected from events of this nature.
