What your organisation does
Our organisation has got our building completely refurbished so that the community can use it on a daily/weekly/monthly basis. We have organised a programme of events on a yearly basis and we are endeavouring to encourage those people living in our area who are lone parents; disabled; housebound; and living in low incomes to take part in our
events and activities. This group was organised to establish the voice of these local families they are the stakeholders, organisers and have ownership of the projects. As mentioned previously we have a yearly on going programme of activities. For larger hosting of events we use the local schools in Cookstown or hire out larger community venues.
