• Relief of those in need in the Armagh Diocese. • Holidays are provided for families within the Armagh Diocese who are suffering as result of stressful and traumatic events in their life. Feedback from participating families has been very positive. • Volunteers from Mothers’ Union in the Armagh Diocese help in Armagh Contact Centre which enables
children to spend time with a non residential parent in a safe environment. • Teddy bears, mattresses and knitted garments are provided for children in the A&E Unit and for the Premature Baby Unit in Craigavon Area Hospital. • Toiletries, toys, towels etc. are collected for the Women’s Aid Centre in Cookstown which provides emergency shelter for women and children as result of domestic violence. Each year a letter of thanks has been received from the Centre Manager expressing thanks on behalf of the beneficiaries. • Provide Parenting Courses to train and guide parents in the upbringing of their children within the Armagh Diocesan area. • Mothers’ Union members within the Armagh Diocese contribute money to provide Literacy, Education and Mothers’ Union projects in underdeveloped countries overseas. The Armagh Diocesan Mothers’ Union operates under a Christian ethos and all the above Public Benefits stem from this. Armagh Diocesan Mothers’ Union feels that no potential harm will arise as a result of the benefits.

Relief of those in Need within the Armagh Diocese - Holidays in NI are provided for families with specific needs. Volunteers assist at Child Contact Centre. Teddy Bears, Mattress, knitted garments provided for children in A & E Units. Toiletries, toys, towels, etc to Women's Aid Centres and A & E units. Provide parenting courses. Financially
support Mothers' Unions Literacy and Education programmes in underdeveloped countries. Education - Training MU Leaders in Armagh Diocese. Volunteers at Parent/Toddler Groups, Crèche etc in Armagh Diocese. Relief of poverty - we financially support MU Family Life project which works along side people in underdeveloped countries to get the best use of their land enabling them to become self sufficient.
