The direct benefits which flow from purpose one (To promote the benefit of the inhabitants of Garvagh and district and its environs (hereinafter described as “the area of benefit”) by associating the statutory authorities, voluntary organizations and inhabitants in a common effort to advance education and to provide facilities in the interests of

the social welfare, education, recreation or other leisure-time occupation with the object of improving the conditions of life for the said inhabitants) are as follows: Holding events that promote social inclusion provide knowledge, education in language and information that targets local issues that can improve the quality of life and giving options to learn new skills and gain knowledge on local culture, heritage and history therefore empowering people in the local community. These can be demonstrated by the feedback received from local community and this purpose is not harmful. The charity’s beneficiaries are all those within the Garvagh district and surrounding area who choose to avail of the services. There are no private benefits. The direct benefits which flow from purpose two (Advance knowledge and appreciation of the Ulster-Scots language and culture and to encourage understanding and acceptance of all indigenous cultures to the area of benefit.) are as follows: Availability of knowledge on local cultures and languages and ability to be educated on local traditions and history as well as our heritage. These can be demonstrated with the visibility of local culture and traditions in the area, there are no private benefits of it causes no harm.

The Association is established to: To Promote the benefit of the inhabitants of the Garvagh district and its environs (hereinafter described as "the area of benefit") by associating the statutory authorities, voluntary organisations and inhabitants in a common effort to advance education and to provide facilities in the interests of social welfare, education, recraetion or other leisure-time occupation with the object of improving the conditions of life for the said inhabitants. Advance knowledge and appreciation of the Ulster-Scots language and culture and to encourage understanding and acceptance of all indigenous cultures to the area of benefit.
