To advance community development and promote rural development in the Clady Glenone,Innishrush and Portglenone areas of Co Antrim by (a) The creation of training and employment opportunities for the unemployed by the provision of workspace, buildings and/or land for use on favourable terms. The public benefit is that young entrepreneurs from
Clady, Glenone, Innishrush and Portglenone areas Co Antrim are provided with an opportunity of starting their own business in their local area at affordable rates. These benefits are demonstrated through the creation of employment in and the provision of services to this local rural community. (b) sign-posting of potential tenants / clients to organisations that offer business advice and support. The public benefit includes raising awareness of services available for support and capacity building for those starting out in new business ventures giving the young people a better understanding of their potential business venture and guidance in making it a success. This is demonstrated through a sustained provision of valuable services to the local population of Clady,Glenone,Innishrush and Portglenone areas of Co Antrim . c) the provision of financial assistance to associated and/or other organisations based in the area of benefit whose charitable purposes include community development. The benefits include supporting groups who have identified need within their community and are demonstrated through community development projects for the well-being of residents in the Clady, Glenone, Innishrush and Portglenone areas of Co Antrim There is no potential harm as a result of these purposes being carried out. Private business owners gain as a result of these purposes being carried out but the greater benefit is the overall growth and wellbeing for residents of this rural community.
