The aims and purposes of Tinytoons Community Playgroup is to promote Pre School education to children from 3-5 years old from all sections of the community. This is a rural and disadvantaged area where children obtain a high level of education and development in fine and gross motor skills, healthy eating scheme and a better understanding of their
environment through field trips and visits from local authorities. We are also connected with speech therapist, and eye optician who come yearly to access children prior to going to school Questionnaires are sent to parents each year for feedback and their views. we have term meeting with parents to let them know how the children are progressing and get their permission if a child needs any specialist treatment. We have our early years adviser who comes to the group regular and promotes any new ideas but also will notice any positive or negative changes within the group. We do have our own private facebook page for parents to see what children are doing and can also make comments. "This is only for parents to see as we have to be careful on child protection issues" Our charity is well protected from any harm, by outside bodies I.E social services, Early Years as well as board of directors and staff. The charities beneficiaries are the children that attend the group. The group works from month to month relying heavily on fund raising and grants to keep the group going. Nobody benefits financially other than staff who are on a wage. Volunteers are welcome and do get the appropriate Training for the purpose of the group.
